I read the other reviews and because it doesn't "look like new", they don't like it. If they wanted "new", they should have purchased "new"!! The unit works GREAT! The price is GREAT! These people who under rate a unit when it is sold as "used" because it doesn't look "new" don't get it! I wanted a blender that would blend like no other blender (I've have/had the Vitamix, Wolf Gang Puck, and the Ninja 1100. I'll take the ICB3 over all of them! The Vitamix is a great blender but it cost a lot more than the used ICB3. I've got a couple Wolf Gang Puck's that I'll sell real cheap. The Ninja too for that matter. I think the Blendtec units are the top of the line (I have their newest model on it's way too). Don't be afraid to buy the ICB3 used (if manufacture refurbished). Mine has given me great service! Make sure you get the manual that has the programming instructions as this blender is programmable! You can program the 6 switches (only 4 switches are labeled, 2 are "ghosts") to your liking. It's an amazing blender if you spend a little time and program it. Otherwise, just use the default settings and you'll still be happy.
